John was a Son, Grand-Son, Son-In-Law, Brother, Brother-In-Law, Husband, Father, Step-Father, Uncle and Friend. He was born in August on the 1st, 1966 in Kermanshas, Iran and died on July the 20th, 2000 in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. His full christian name is Jahanbakash. He came to Australia during the Gulf War as a Political Refugee.

His immediate family includes his wife Julie (deceased), his children, Samantha, Alisha, Matthew, Nathan and Timmy, Julie's two children, his parents Gullanreza and Zarritala and his brothers and sisters who all reside in Iran. John was one of the most dearest and sweetest gentlemen that I have ever known.

I clearly saw why Julie wanted to spend the rest of her life with him and they complimented each other perfectly. He was buried with Julie on his birthday. He always had a kind word for everybody and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need.

Special Memories

The unconditional love and respect that John always showed for Julie will always be a lasting memory for me. And knowing that they were happy and in love when they were killed somehow helps me to deal with this tragedy that has been encroached upon my life.

John's Talents

He loved listening to music and quite often I would arrive at Julie's and John's to see them dancing around the house with all their children. He was also a great handyman, anytime anything needed fixing John could usually fix it. A few months before he was killed he started to get into the mechanics of computers, something that he found really enjoyable and satisfying.

Cherished Moments

When we went camping John would always be the perfect host and caretaker. Caring for everyone and always making sure everyone was happy and comfortable. He was also guilty of a few practical jokes which had us all in stitches.

Thankyou John for making the last three years of Julie's life happy and fullfilled.
